General Information

Please remember it may take a full 48 hours after classes begin before your online courses are visible in Blackboard.

If you do not see your courses by the third day after classes begin, please contact the Help Desk below.

Please allow 24 hours-after payment, and on or after the first day of classes--for the college to process your paperwork, before attempting to login to Blackboard.

Online via the Online Help Desk for Distance Education. Choose Request Support at the top of the page, then select Submit a Ticket or Live Chat to chat with a service representative live over the web (this is the quickest way to get a response).

Google (Gmail):

Your Google (Gmail) LOGIN is displayed for you when you visit http://webadvisor.cravencc.edu/WA/.

Click What’s My User Id and answer a few questions. You can access Gmail through the Craven CC Website at http://www.cravencc.edu or directly at Google Gmail Login.

Your Google (Gmail) LOGIN is created from your first and last name given on your application; when you first began classes at Craven. Your Google (Gmail) LOGIN will use this format firstname.lastname.

Blackboard:

Your Blackboard LOGIN will be crav- + WebAdvisor Login. You can access Blackboard through Craven CC Website located at http://www.cravencc.edu. The Blackboard link is at the top of our Home page or at http://nclc.blackboard.com/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp.

Moodle:

Your Moodle LOGIN is your username in Moodle is your firstname.lastname.

For example, the username for Joe Smith would be joe.smith.

Google (Gmail), Blackboard, and Moodle Password Information

Your Google (Gmail), Blackboard and Moodle passwords are the same, initially. The password follows this pattern: 2 digit birth month 2 digit birth day 2 digit birth year.

For example, a student named Amy Monohan with a birthday of 01/03/1970, would find her LOGIN at Webadvisor; then confirm her LOGIN is actually amy.monohan; and then she would log in as follows:

Blackboard Login: crav-amy.monohan
Password: 010370
Google (Gmail) Login: amy.monohan
Password: 010370
E-mail address: amy.monohan@student.cravencc.edu
