Business Loan WorkshopLearn about the North Carolina Small Business Commission and their efforts to provide elevated services through community colleges, bringing state resources to small business as they struggle to recover. Business owners will be educated on necessary documentation for acquiring Business and SBA guaranteed loans. Sustainable Gardening - NB
Learn how to grow a garden for home or profit. Learn how to establish a sustainable garden and then work with a group of community gardeners from prior classes. You can learn gardening concepts from local gardening organizations, Department of Health, Tryon Palace Gardens, NCSU Cooperative Extension, Craven County and others. Learn the basics of gardening and put your knowledge to work turning soil in a waiting community garden. Classes are planned continuously from August through December 2010.
