Academic Skills Center (ASC) - Math Lab

The Math Lab is available for students who are taking mathematics courses at all levels. Tutors are there to work with students in small groups so that they can succeed. Tutors might not always be available for one-on-one tutoring. However, students who have visited the math lab and wish to work with a tutor one-on-one should contact the director of the Academic Skills Center to see if accommodations can be made.


Steps to take to access the MAT Lab;

  1. Ask your instructor to complete a referral form for you.  Tell the instructor what topic/concept you are having difficulty with.
  2. Pick up the referral from your instructor and bring it to the ASC, or ask your instructor to e-mail it to the ASC.
  3. Come to the ASC (with the referral), and ask for your ASC Student Card at the Sign In Desk.
  4. Go to the MAT Lab tutor for the help you need.
  5. Show your ASC Student Card at the sign in desk for future visits to the MAT Lab
