Student Career Experience Program

Overview

To apply for the Student Career Experience Program, you must have completed 30 semester hours in an approved Associate in Applied Science program of study, be currently enrolled at Craven CC at the time of application, and have completed a minimum of one semester of coursework at Craven CC.

Each currently enrolled student must be recommended by his or her faculty advisor. Only complete application packages will be accepted and forwarded to FRC-East at Cherry Point.


A complete application packages includes:

  • OF 612 Federal Application for Employment (There is no announcement number for the Student Career Experience Program).
  • OF 306 Declaration of Federal Employment.
  • Letter of Recommendation from your advisor or an instructor in your program.
  • Graduation Summary: listing required courses you have completed, course remaining to be completed, and your anticipated graduation date.
  • Current CravenCC Transcript via Craven community College Transcript Request.

Sign and Date all documents as required.

All applications that meet the requirements determined by the FRC-East and include the four required elements will be date-stamped and forwarded to FRC-East for consideration. FRC-East will make the determination concerning applicant interviews and will schedule interview dates.
